The food was plentiful, varied, and excellent, and the service couldn't have been better. The hotel also sits in a beautiful spot, with wide views across the city.

The approach to the resort is tiring, and trips leave from a point half a kilometer away, after another mountain climb. The room and bathroom could use renovation; kettles are out in the hallways, the terraces go unused, and there are no cultural activities or social club. On the plus side, the treatments were okay and staff were friendly. We were pleasantly surprised when our dinner was packed up and left at reception after we asked to eat later, and the meals were decent. There was a good selection of paid excursions, too, and the greenery and flowers were beautiful.

I left feeling the stay had been a success. The food stood out most, with generous portions and plenty of variety, better than at other spas I've visited. The therapists and treatments were also very nice, and the therapists understanding. The rooms felt like they were from the communist era, and the place had potential that wasn't used. There was no cafe or shop, just water and sweets at reception, with a big bell in the hallway. 🩷

The setting was a real relief, high above Szczawnica, with terraces looking out over the whole Pieniny Mountains. I had the best spa stay of my life. Staff were so friendly they seemed to know what was needed without being asked, and the rooms were constantly cleaned. The kitchen staff deserve a medal: over three weeks, we never had the same lunch twice. Dinner was always hot, followed by fresh cake or rolls. The food was fantastic and met spa standards, rather than those of a health resort funded by the National Health Fund.
