The room standard was below average, and I couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep. Every time I woke up, the smell kept me from falling asleep again. This is the stinkiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff and management don’t care about smoking in the hotel, so it’s really only suitable for heavy smokers. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

It’s reasonably clean, and in general not bad, but the missing kettle and cups made me rate it so low. There’s a sink and fridge in each room, yet no basic kettle or even a cup for anyone who wants tea or coffee in the morning. They could at least put a kettle in the shared lounge. I’ve never seen this in all my time staying in hostels. Even the cheapest ones always had a kettle. And for anyone thinking of the canteen, it was closed. Not everyone wants to pay for overpriced coffee every morning.

The price was decent, though I suppose you might find better quality for the same money in Bulgaria. Poland has a higher standard of living, of course, so prices are higher too. I booked the room quickly on booking and didn’t realize the toilet and shower were outside the room and shared by everyone. The sheets looked clean, but not convincingly so. Staff didn’t know much English, and checkout is at 10 o’clock, rather than the international 12, so be prepared to hear why you haven’t left earlier. The internet was slow, but at least there was enough for everything. You get 1 gb or 480 mins, then have to authorize again and again. Not too bad.

One night here was enough to leave my clothes and hair smelling strongly of cigarettes. The ventilation doesn’t seem to work. Disgusting.
