It’s a nice spot, a little outside the town center, and there are some decent spa options nearby. The accommodation is fairly spacious and reasonably priced, but that’s about where the positives end. The insulation is really poor for a mountain location. You can feel air coming through the windows, which is miserable when it’s below zero outside, snowing, and windy.
The view of the mountains was good, and the location was okay, though a bit far from the center if you don’t mind walking. But we booked mainly for the spa and the photos didn’t reflect what we found. It seemed to belong to a different provider, and the quality was very poor. Nothing worked properly, there was no jakuzzi, and the pool was tiny, more suitable for 3-year-old kids. We also had to put down a 300 zl damage deposit. Once we got into the apartment, we found lots of things already broken or dirty: the shower doors, lamps, cupboard door, curtains, and sofa, plus dirty cups and other visible damage. I contacted customer support but got no clear explanation. I hope they return our deposit. I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. We were very dissatisfied, and it was bad value for money.
The location was fine, but the place looked much less fancy in person. Right after arriving, I noticed a broken balcony chair, scratches and smears on most of the furniture and surfaces, and yellowish liquid, possibly old water, dripping from the bathroom boiler.
The price is premium, but the hospitality was far below standard. The place was poorly maintained, dingy and dirty, and the staff seemed unprofessional and unpleasant. Bins were overflowing, and rat poison was left unsecured and easy to reach, so be careful if you have young children or pets. There was dirt, bugs, dust bunnies and cobwebs everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with allergies or asthma. Some equipment was broken or didn’t work. In ski season, having the shower switch from hot to cold in seconds was a problem too. Unless you’re prepared to drive everywhere, you could spend a small fortune on taxis, and even then you might struggle to find parking. What a shame. I definitely wouldn’t spend my money or nerves booking this place.
The fridge was broken and only froze things, and just one burner on the stove worked. After the first night, we had to put the bed back together. The AC probably hadn’t been cleaned since last year, either. There are rotten boards on the 6th-floor balcony, and a heavier person could easily break through in some places. This is their biggest and most expensive apartment at this location...
