Decent rooms and nothing really wrong, but nothing special either. It was fine, so the score is about average.

The shared kitchen was in only average shape and a bit awkward to use. I heard there was an oven, though I didn’t try it. The bathrooms are very tiny, and without a shower tray or curtain, the whole floor gets wet. Still, those things are minor if you’re mostly here to walk around town and the mountains. The rooms are small but adequate, and you don’t need a huge apartment when you’re out in the mountains all day. The location is great for trails and the train station. It’s downhill to the center of Szklarska Poreba, though the walk back is less easy.

The mountain view is pure magic. I loved sitting with a coffee, picking a book from the big library in the little downstairs lounge, and just enjoying the moment. We spent the holidays here with our loved ones and were very happy. The rooms were spotless, and there was a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. The owners welcome pets, and both the center and hiking trails are just a stone’s throw away. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I stayed five days and would happily recommend this place for a short visit or a longer one. The owners, Ms. Ania and Mr. Czarek, are kind and attentive, available around the clock without being intrusive or pushy. The villa sits on a mountain slope with open views of the Karkonosze Mountains, and the south-facing rooms get sun through the day. It’s about a six-minute walk to Szklarska Poręba Górna train station and three minutes to the bus station and city center. Parking is inside the fenced property. The kitchen has everything you’d expect at home, from a refrigerator, microwave, and electric stove to pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, cups, and glasses. There’s even a washing machine, which makes longer stays easy. Beside the kitchen is a big room for eating your own meals or relaxing with coffee or beer and spending time with friends or family.
