Apartamenty Koci Ogon

A terrible stay in the attic apartment. The bathroom and toilet were dirty, there was dust everywhere, and a stone was stuck to the shower glass. Water came out with rust, sand, and gravel. The owners knew about this problem. On the phone, they told us it had happened before, but they hadn't warned us or looked into it before we arrived. We had a child with us and couldn't wash him before bed. The room lamps were covered in cobwebs that looked a month old. There was old coffee in the coffee pot, dirty plates, no paper towels or cloths to wipe things after washing, and a large stone in the kettle. The bedding was dirty, and there was hair on the bed and bedside table. I don't understand why they leave broken or damaged cat figurines in the apartment. The windows weren't airtight, and one wouldn't close fully. It was winter, but the apartment hadn't been heated before we arrived. No one offered to move us to another apartment or compensate us for the stay.

The buffet breakfast at Gotyk Hotel was included in the price, with plenty of food and a good selection. We could also get discounted parking on Philadelphia Boulevard. The owner checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything, which was a nice surprise. We stayed at the Koci ogon apartment recently and would recommend it to anyone visiting Toruń. It's clean and tidy, with a distinctive feel, lots of space, a large airy bathroom, a kitchenette, and a balcony. Philadelphia Boulevard and the Old Town are both very close. The location is the only reason for the two stars. This is the same owner as Koti Łeb Apartment on Kopernika Street. The apartment has seen better days, and many of the appliances barely seem to be holding together. Cleaning was only surface-level, with dust and dirt in the corners and under the bed. The bathroom lock is fitted backwards, so you can't lock the door. The kitchen was dirty, and the frying pan was fit for the rubbish. The oven wasn't worth mentioning either. Fortunately, we didn't use the kitchen. The location really is good, but the general grime on the floor, dirty windows, and appliances that need replacing or repairs left a bad taste.

Rabiańska Street has a lovely atmosphere, and the Old Town, Vistula River, Leaning Tower, and Gingerbread Museum are all close by. The owners were very friendly, and we'll definitely come back. The De Lux Apartment in Koci Ogonie was spacious and clean, with a fresh smell, a kitchen, a huge bathroom, and a balcony.
