The Sun by Lubicz

For nine months in Poland, this hotel was my home, and I won’t forget the experience. The staff made it that way, treating me like family and going out of their way to help. I knew everyone by name, from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping, and I’ll miss them. It was a privilege to stay here. I liked the clean, modern rooms and their Scandinavian look. My room had enough wardrobe and drawer space, plus a small fridge that was handy for drinks and snacks. I’ve seen complaints about room size, but the sizes are listed on the homepage. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly in both rooms I stayed in, including for streaming through my Chromecast. The hotel was quiet, at least for me. Most guests seemed to be couples, older travelers, or people on business. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the scrambled eggs, which were the best I’ve had. The buffet dinner and à la carte food were tasty and well prepared, and good value compared with restaurants in town. I often got back from work around 17:00-17:30, then went for a walk, swim, or jog. By the time I’d showered and was ready to eat, it was past the restaurant’s 19:00 closing time, so I had to eat elsewhere. I’d suggest extending or changing those hours. There’s a small spa in the basement with a two-person jacuzzi, a sauna for 4-6 people, and two infrared loungers. It has a changing room, shower, and toilet as well. There’s also a massage room, though I never tried it, so I can’t comment. The promenade, beach, attractions, and restaurants are all close. Guests also get access to the Grand Lubicz aqua park and gym. I can definitely recommend the hotel, and I loved my time here.

The staff were all very friendly, and I’d stay here again. Breakfast was great, and the Aquapark access is included in the price, which is a real bargain. The rooms are new, with comfortable beds and new bathrooms. Each has a kettle with tea and coffee, international TV, and good Wi-Fi.

No complaints from me, everything was fine.
