I had a few nice days here with my girlfriend, even though the rooms could use some work. They were clean and tidy, but the stained walls looked unfinished or quickly painted, and some doors had marks that suggested parties. The bathrooms felt cold despite the hot radiators. Upstairs, the shared kitchens were pretty bare, and it seemed like people just left whatever they happened to use there. I even put butter in the fridge, but it barely cooled anything. The villa is near the main street while still away from the city noise. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Czantorie and 10 minutes to the market square.

We stayed at the Villa, and although our room was clean, there was an odd, unpleasant smell both inside and outside. The rooms need freshening up, and the tiny parking lot made it hard to turn around in a larger car. Getting out by the bridge felt dangerous, especially in winter: the slope was icy and unpaved, and the tires spun as we tried to leave. I hope the owner gives some thought to the guests. This place doesn’t deserve to be called a ** hotel, and we won’t return.
