Chill Apartments City Tower

The flat was modern, clean, and tidy, which was really all we needed. Getting in was easy enough: we received the instructions by email about a day ahead, then used a key code for the entrance and took the lift. There's a convenience shop right downstairs, and a bus stop at the end of the road if you don't fancy the roughly 30-minute walk into the city center. We'd stay here again next time we're in Warsaw.

We ended up out on the street at 10 PM, even though we'd prepaid and had the keys. The company had double-booked the apartment for two groups that day. Another group was already waiting at the door, and after their woman called customer service, the company gave the place to them and left us without anywhere to stay. They said there was nothing they could do and no other apartment available, but we found one on Airbnb, so it seemed they were lying. They then said they'd contact Airbnb support and call us back, but after that they ignored our calls. In the end, we got our money back, with no compensation, apology, or replacement apartment. Don't trust this company if you don't want to be searching for somewhere new at 10 PM.

The place has a few good points: the location, private parking, a lift, kitchen equipment, and a decent price. Still, it didn't look as nice as the photos, and I think the towels were dirty. They smelled bad, and one was visibly soiled.

We were shown photos of a large, spacious flat with a beautiful view from the 10th or 11th floor when we booked. Instead, we got a small apartment on the fourth floor, looking out at a roof in the back courtyard. Really disappointing.
