I had a terrible stay at Hotel Verte Warsaw. After a booking error, the young bald man who checked me in at around 4 pm charged me 2,000 PLN for a noisy, subpar room by reception. He didn't show me the room or suggest it first. I expected at least a higher floor or somewhere away from the loud street, especially with reception itself already noisy. Even if rooms were scarce, charging several times the room's value as an emergency option was unacceptable. Expedia tried calling, but the hotel deliberately ignored them overnight, locking in the charge. At 3:00 AM, the clerk said they hadn't wanted to “disturb” me, which felt like a cheap excuse to avoid moving me to the higher-category room I'd actually paid for. In the morning, after I spoke with the senior assistant, they refunded the second night, but only by emailing me instead of updating Expedia. I then spent hours with Expedia support proving the cancellation. They also gave me no receipt or folio at checkout. My deposit covered the room, so I should have received money back, but I felt arguing was futile. I ended up having to contact my card provider and report certain activity as fraud. The taxi arranged by the hotel was another problem. I assumed it was complimentary at a five-star hotel, but the driver overcharged me twice and was extremely rude. I contacted my bank and got most of the money back. Practically everyone at the hotel, especially the front desk, kept lying, and the general manager stayed silent despite my more detailed emails. The dishonesty and greed were shocking in a beautiful, dignified country like Poland. The hotel and its staff were disgraceful. Avoid it.

The bar was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Enjoying my usual The Macallan in that elegant setting felt like a real treat. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Hotel Verte, Warsaw, Autograph Collection blends historic architecture with modern luxury. The interiors are beautiful, the rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the thoughtful design gives the place a refined feel. A world class stay, full of elegance and sophistication.

I spent New Year days here, and the stay was unforgettable. The service was exceptional, and breakfast was both rich and delicious, especially the Egg Benedicts selection, which is a must-try. The hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully designed, with well-appointed rooms that have a feel reminiscent of the past century. Its location is incredible, and the breakfast is hard to match. I'm absolutely certain this is the best place to stay in Warsaw. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

We came from Berlin for a short winter break and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located, with an impressive building and a well-kept interior that feels modern but still cozy. The beds were incredible, with perfect mattresses and two pillows to choose from. We were given breakfast for free. I was hesitant because we're vegan, and although the buffet had enough vegetables, fresh and pickled, salads, oils and dressings, guacamole, hummus, beetroot hummus and very good bread and rolls, nothing there really seemed worth paying for. But we could ask for vegan “scrambled tofu” with spinach and tomatoes, though it was more cut up than scrambled, and a lovely crepe. They also had oat milk for coffee. We're really happy with the stay. :)

We made use of the spa, and my kobido massage was so good I didn't want it to end. Breakfast was amazing, with both buffet and à la carte options, and the service was very kind. The hotel is in a great old town location and felt like excellent value for the money. It's one of the most beautiful hotels in Warsaw, with old architecture paired with a clean, modern style that gave us a real sense of luxury. We'll definitely come back. 🤍
