We arrived to an uncleaned apartment. All they said was, “Oops, sorry, that’s the cleaning service.” Come on, guys, that’s absurd. Avoid!

The shutters were the main problem. The living room stayed dim even during the day, and we couldn’t use the veranda seating area. In the bedroom the shutters were up, so light came in from dawn to dusk and cut into our holiday sleep. A few days before we arrived, we’d received a confusing email about a small technical issue with the electric shutters. We stayed anyway because finding another place nearby at short notice felt uncertain, and the payment was already being debited from our account. Check-in and checkout both happened without any human contact. We got the keys from a safe by entering a code emailed to us, then returned them the same way. On our last day, we were told by email and phone that workers would come at 7:00 PM to fix the issue. When we got back, both shutters had been raised all the way, but still didn’t work. The apartment was clean, but there were open food packages left behind. Would you eat food from an opened package? The TV decoder was unplugged too. Not an experience I’d repeat. Luckily, Warsaw is worth visiting.
