There’s no lobby here, and check-in isn’t until 4pm. I was told I couldn’t pay to arrive earlier, so I spent three hours outside in the cold waiting for an email with the codes. I can’t understand why the manager wouldn’t let me in a few hours sooner. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that refused early check-in, especially with such a late standard time. This was advertised as a traditional hotel, but it’s really an Airbnb. Terrible people must be running it.

We had the room with the big round bed, and it was so comfortable. The apartment was spacious, with a large bathroom and bath, plus a mini fridge, microwave and hairdryer, which came in handy since I’d forgotten mine. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the shower head, which wasn’t long enough for a quick shower. It’s just outside the main centre, but taxis are cheap, and there’s a big shopping centre opposite with clothes, food and even currency exchange. Brilliant value, and we’d definitely book it again.

You only get a small room with a small round bed, no table or chair, and nowhere to put clothes. Calling this an apartment or hotel is misleading, it’s a sex hotel. As others have said, the owners don’t respond, and I had to message several times to get the access details.

Looks like renovation work may have started, but the place still feels neglected. The light doesn’t work.

It’s not too bad, really. For more shopping excitement at those prices, try the nearby Mokoty Shopping Mall.
