Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel, an Marriott International

It looks a little strange in the photo, but the hotel is actually in the middle. In real life it’s noticeably better than the picture, and cheaper than the neighbouring places. The rooms are larger than at the nearby CourtYard Moriot, and the people are friendly. There’s a great restaurant open until 11:00 PM. The bar lists the same menu until 1:00 AM, though I didn’t check.

We stayed for a nightcap in October. The rooms are decent, and we ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, both of which were good. The shower room has no door, though, so water can splash everywhere. My main concern was the housekeeping visit. We asked for extra room slippers, and housekeeping came in to leave them while we were out, with all my belongings still in the room. They could have waited. I called reception to ask about it, and she said it was within the housekeeper’s right. Is that not an invasion of privacy? 🤷🏻‍♀️

The hotel is beautiful, and I liked it from the moment I arrived. It stayed that way: clean, warm, quiet, and cozy. The breakfasts are delicious and very good quality. Its location is especially convenient for air travel, and the checkout time is convenient too. I’d have liked scales in the rooms, or at least on the floors, so I could weigh my suitcases, plus a coffee maker for good coffee. The small glass shower cabin is uncomfortable, and you can see into it from the room 😩. Water doesn’t drain fast enough and spills onto the floor. Still, the rest makes up for these small annoyances.

With Chopin Airport’s departure level literally right across the way, the Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel is ideal for an early flight or short layover. The terminal is just a few steps away. We found the room spacious, modern, comfortable, spotless, and well equipped, with a stylish bathroom that suited the hotel’s upscale feel. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. We also got a complimentary bar voucher, though I’m not sure if all guests receive one or if it’s for Marriott Bonvoy status holders. We had to leave early, so we didn’t get to try breakfast. For convenience, comfort, and service, the hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended for a transit stay.
