Sava Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was a letdown. There was no buffet, just a very limited choice of sandwiches or eggs presented as "à la carte," and the portions were small. The staff were also extremely unfriendly and unresponsive, with no sense of care for guests. Our room was tiny and badly insulated. Cold air came in through the windows, and we heard everything outside, from traffic lights and people talking to loud, rumbling cars. Noise from inside carried too, including irritatingly loud music from the breakfast room. We were in Warsaw for New Year's Eve and asked about dinner for December 31. They pointed us to their own restaurant, which was really just the breakfast room, with a special dinner priced at around €260 per person. We passed. That felt terribly overpriced for food of average quality. The location doesn't justify the cost either. It's on a fairly busy road and quite far from the main historic city center attractions. There's a metro station right outside, but that didn't help much. The stay might have been acceptable for a low-cost room in a cheap chain, but the quality was extremely poor for what this place charges and claims as a boutique hotel. The only boutique thing was the price, even by the new, fairly expensive Polish standards. Extremely overpriced. Avoid at all costs.

Although the location is great and the hotel itself is nice, I wouldn't recommend it for the price or service. The room was small, though the bathroom was spacious and had natural daylight. The price seemed okay at first, but it was too much for what you actually get. The staff were so unfriendly and rude that the stay became unpleasant. They ignored my requests and wishes, and the service felt dismissive. Such a shame.

We got checked in after midnight, and the receptionist was extremely kind. The room was very cozy, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom beautiful. A lot of the reviews below sound fake.

My wife and I booked late in the evening, accidentally choosing the current day. It was already after 10:00 PM, when check-in wasn't possible, so we tried to cancel or reschedule through the booking aggregator, but couldn't get it to work. We wrote to the hotel early the next morning. They refused and gave us nothing back. That was extremely unpleasant. They could have handled it more humanely.
