We were only here for one night during a visit to Warsaw, but had to ask reception for another room around midnight. The staff first said there might not be one available, then fortunately moved us. We appreciate them finding a solution, but guests shouldn’t be given a room with such a strong sewage smell in the first place. The odor was coming from the bathroom as soon as we entered. We thought airing out the room might help, but after dinner it was even worse, and by bedtime we couldn’t fall asleep because of it.

The front desk staff were friendly, and the location was decent, but I found the stay underwhelming. The room was clean yet very basic, with outdated decor. The bed felt like an old student dorm mattress and was extremely uncomfortable, which really hurt my sleep. It might do for a short stay if you’re not picky, but I wouldn’t choose Villa Plaza Hotel in Warsaw again unless they upgrade the beds.

We were delighted with our two-night stay in May 2024 and would consider returning to Villa Plaza. It’s a relatively small but well-presented hotel in a quiet, mostly residential area. There’s plenty of free parking at the side and back of the building. Our double room was very spacious, with a large bedroom and a separate shower room. There was lots of cupboard and drawer space, along with a fridge, kettle and TV. The mattress was delightful, very soft and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was worth the extra fee. It ran from 0700 to 1000 and was mostly a self-service buffet, though the kitchen staff were happy to make additional simple dishes on request. A large shopping mall is about a 20-minute walk away, and Księcia Janusza subway station is around 15 minutes on foot.

Free parking and a generous breakfast were big positives. The bed was completely worn out, extremely uncomfortable and needed replacing ASAP. The walls are very thin too, so you can hear every conversation from the neighbouring rooms. Sorry, but max 3 out of 5 ✌️

The parking was a real time-saver for us. It's not in the center, but the area is quiet. A bit dated, though fine for a night's sleep. The shower felt small, and keep in mind there's no lift if you're traveling light.
