I’ve never posted a Google review before, but this was such a letdown. We booked a 40 square meter, one bedroom apartment for six nights, specifically because it was supposed to be spacious and have a separate bedroom with a proper bed. Both mattered a lot: we had our cat with us, and my partner and I both have back issues. I told the hosts about the cat, and they said it was fine and we were welcome. On Friday night, when we picked up the keys, we found a small studio instead. The living area was no more than 12 square meters, and the bed was a flimsy, creaky, hard sofa. It was late, so we stayed with friends that night and I called the property on Saturday. The woman on the phone apologized but said she couldn’t do anything until Monday, when she might be able to move us to another apartment. She refused a refund or cancellation for the rest of the stay, leaving us stuck with a place we couldn’t sleep in. I spent the weekend contacting booking.com support to try to get some money back. They said they couldn’t act without the property’s approval. The property could have offered some kind of compensation, but chose not to. We paid 1,165 złoty for accommodation where we didn’t spend a single night. I’m extremely disappointed and strongly feel this shouldn’t be legal. Please avoid this place and give your money to someone who actually cares about guests.

The mattress was so broken that sleeping on the bed was impossible. It felt like the place didn’t care about guest comfort. The room wasn’t exactly dirty, but it wasn’t clean either, and a broken section of the window let cold air in constantly. I visit Warsaw regularly for work, and there are lots of better options.

They don’t reply to letters or calls, and they don’t refund the time you booked.
