Warsaw City Apartments

I booked an air-conditioned apartment at plac konstytucji, but at check-in they put me on a different street, more than 1km away, and the apartment had no aircon. They offered no compensation. Very unprofessional, avoid by all means.

The office was closed when I first arrived, and that wasn't the last surprise.

After I complained on booking.com, Warsaw City Apartments canceled my reservation without contacting me. Before that, they had rejected my credit card five times, blocked my phone number, and left my emails unanswered. I do not recommend them! I made the reservation through booking.com, and the same things happened: five card rejections, my number blocked, and no replies to my emails. Then, after I filed a complaint there, they canceled without getting in touch.

Be careful with these reservations. Their website form gives no indication whether a date is actually available. I emailed to ask and eventually got a reply saying it was, but the rate was 350 PLN per night, not 280 PLN. I confirmed I wanted to book, then heard nothing back. On the phone, the first person hung up, then told me to call later. On my third call, he said the system was freezing and he couldn't check if the reservation was valid. He suggested the date might be unavailable because it was a busy period. That could be true, but if a date is booked, the form should show it as unavailable instead of accepting more reservations. You could arrive to find 20 people booked for the same date, or find there is no booking for you. An earlier comment suggests this is their practice. This feels like a complete scam.
