Zoliborz Apartament

On February 7-8, 2020, I was supposed to stay at Żoliborz Apartament, but around 4:00 PM, just before check-in as we were approaching the property, the owner called to say the apartment was unavailable. It had flooded, the toilet was clogged, and we couldn’t use it. The booking had been canceled through no fault of ours, so I asked about the PLN 249 hold on my card for the night. He said it would be canceled and the money wouldn’t be debited. A week later, however, PLN 249 was IRREGULARLY taken from my account. Through no fault of my own, I never used the apartment, and we were left without a place to stay until evening. The whole thing left me incredibly stressed. I’ll never deal with this owner again.

It’s clean and close to the city center, and the location is good. There’s a huge CRT TV, for anyone who still remembers those, and the speakers crackle. I found towels in the bathroom but no cleaning products like soap, shampoo, or shower gel. Breakfast is just a “Tomcio Thumb” roll to heat in the microwave. I’d recommend paying the 20 PLN for a parking spot in the underground garage, since finding a space on the sidewalk is very difficult.

The place was a good fit for an affordable overnight stay with parking. It’s clean, has an interesting decor, and feels welcoming. Getting to the city center is convenient, too, thanks to the transport links. I’d gladly come back.

A very nice place with a high standard. The room price is on the cheaper side, so I’d recommend it.
