There are some practical pluses here: the beds are comfortable, everything is cleverly arranged, and the helpful owner will lend you things like a toaster, umbrella, or screen. You're 1700m from the sea, right in the center of Wisełka's mini-promenade, near eateries, children's attractions, and the municipal playground. The rooms also have several annoyances. The refrigerators are very old and loud, there's no sink so dishes have to be washed in a tiny basin, and the dishes are kept in the dresser under the TV, which is already filled with a table. There's no common area, and the microwave and hotplates are outside by the windows of one room. Blinds instead of curtains look tacky. Broken blind handles, burned-out bulbs, and damaged doorknobs were left for repairs until after the season. Cleaning was quick, with dust and dirt left in the corners.

The owner takes an interest in her guests, and there's a breakfast table outside the room, both nice touches. The room itself was small but clean and tidy, and the bathroom was fine. One problem: the advertised double bed was actually two singles pushed together, which isn't comfortable for two people trying to sleep close. The village-center location is convenient, though evenings can get noisy.

We enjoyed the lovely surroundings, good weather, and all the cafes and restaurants nearby. But we were told the room would have a balcony and kitchen access, then got a room without a balcony and an electric stove outside instead. I felt that was unfair. The price was 150 PLN plus air conditioning, despite being told earlier that AC was included in the room price. I don't recommend this guesthouse.

The beach is nearby and, to me, the most beautiful in the region, with white sand like an Italian beach. The town is small, but the location is convenient, with restaurants, a playground, and a shop close by. Our room was spacious and clean.
