We really enjoyed staying at Dolina Leśnych Ski & Spa, but the checkout situation changed how we felt about the resort. On our departure day, the receptionist told us we owed over 400 złoty for extra charges that nobody had mentioned beforehand. That's a considerable amount, and guests should be told about fees clearly in advance. The receptionist was rude and brusque, acted condescendingly, and seemed annoyed that we were there. There was very little basic courtesy, and it affected the experience a lot. This kind of incompetent service is a serious downside for the resort and the hospitality business generally. I travel a lot, so believe me. Let it be a lesson for us and other guests: ask about every charge in detail!!!!!!
