The shared area was nice, the kitchen and rooms had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were new, clean, and pleasant. They clear the parking lot of snow every day, and there’s firewood available. The owners are great, and the location, parking, and access to information were all good. We came three times in one week over the Christmas and New Year period!

I absolutely do not recommend this place. We spent less than three days in the cottage over Christmas, and we won’t return. The temperature downstairs was so low that the children wanted to go home from the cold. We slept in thick socks and sweatpants, and the radiators were only lukewarm. The owner said the stove was at 40-50 degrees Celsius and that it should be enough, even though it was -11 degrees Celsius outside. We were told there would be four bedrooms, but two were joined without even a wall between them, so they were really one room. The frying pans were dirty, with peeling Teflon. When we tried to wash them, we found the dish soap had been diluted with water. The bathroom soap was no better, and some towels were torn and stained. Each room was supposed to have a TV, but one didn’t work at all and the others were jammed and unwatchable. WiFi was supposedly available, but none of our devices could find it. The sanitary and general amenities were sparse. For twelve people staying three days with all the shops closed for Christmas, we were given only two small rolls of gray toilet paper. We paid for the stay as soon as we arrived, though it took the elderly woman who greeted us some time to handle it. We got no receipt or bill. At the end of the second day, we got an evening call asking us to settle up, even though we’d paid on day one. The old lady hadn’t remembered or written it down and kept saying we still owed over 1,000 złoty. We also asked the owner for fireplace wood, which was listed as available, and were told a basket cost 50 złoty. Later he brought a small box, calling it symbolic, and it lasted about two hours. Luckily another person came to our house and brought wood, so we had to supply our own. The owners seemed more concerned with a few dozen złoty than guests’ comfort. I don’t recommend staying here, you’re likely to be disappointed.

Really nice place, with nice rooms and a great apartment. I highly recommend it 🙂

We were really pleased with our stay. It was quiet and peaceful, and this is a great place. I recommend it.
