After four days there, I can say the living conditions were awful, as bad as or worse than a homeless shelter. I regret staying and will never go back. The price could get you much better conditions elsewhere. As soon as we arrived, we tried to find another place, but nothing nearby was available. We bought air fresheners because the rooms reeked of damp, mold, and mildew. The room was ugly and dirty, and hadn’t even been vacuumed. The bathroom had a strong, lasting sewage smell, a moldy shower cubicle, and such weak water pressure that washing was difficult. Spiders and other vermin were everywhere. Moisture had been painted over, the walls were moldy, there were no radiators, and the plaster was peeling. The damp also made the floorboards burst, and our belongings were all wet and smelly. I’m surprised the sanitary inspectorate hasn’t dealt with this mess.

The photos in the ads don’t show how bad it is. My own photos couldn’t capture the unbearable stink, either. I was there only a few minutes before wanting to throw up and leave. The place smelled of age, dirt, and mustiness, and everything seemed to be falling apart. The bathroom door was barely attached to its hinges, and the sewage smell in there stung my eyes. The walls had been painted over along with the furniture. Cabinets were falling apart, and electrical outlets were coming out of the walls. What a disaster. I wish I could give it zero. Avoid this place.

The price was unreasonable, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The bathroom smelled bad and the shower was damaged. There was no kettle in the room, although the listing says every room has one. The shared kitchen kettle was dirty and covered in limescale. The bedding was yellow instead of white, looked pre-war, and had no buttons. The kitchen was a mess, and nobody checked it during our whole stay.

We had a clean room with firm, comfortable beds, plus beach gear: a blanket, windbreak, chair, and umbrella. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the neighborhood was quiet. A less crowded beach to the right of the harbor takes about 15-20 minutes to reach on foot. Lidl and Biedronka are along the way. Nearby, there’s also a Żabka, a Polo market, and a 24-hour milk shop. ;)
