AC Hotel by Marriott Wroclaw

The breakfast buffet had a great range, including plenty of traditional Polish food and drinks, and there was lots of room to sit at tables of different styles and heights. The old town center is conveniently close, with a fabulous wine shop just a few steps away. My room was better than I expected. The staff were capable, friendly, and poised, and this AC Hotel lives up to the brand’s high standards.

The glass bathroom door right beside the bed turns what would be a five-star hotel for me into a two-star one. This cost-cutting choice needs to stop. Give me a proper door, even if its handle needs more maintenance and the price goes up. Not everyone travels alone. It’s 06:30, and I just got dressed to use the lobby restroom so I wouldn’t bother my partner. Now I have to go back upstairs and try not to wake her by opening and closing the door again.

The front desk helped me book a haircut when I couldn’t manage it with local shops because they weren’t fluent in English. I can’t remember the staff member’s name, unfortunately, but they went well out of their way for me. I was there for a business trip and stayed about a week last year. The hotel was spotless, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the sauna and pool were very well maintained. It’s right in the heart of the city, so it would work just as well for personal travel. I’ll choose it again on my next trip and have already recommended it to a lot of colleagues.

Breakfast was the highlight for me: lots of good options, attentive service, tasty yogurt, fruit and chia seed pudding, and very good bread. The gym also opened early enough for me to work out before business meetings. AC Hotel Wroclaw is a short walk from the Old Town, shopping malls, and plenty of places to eat. My room felt impressively spacious, with stylish design and quality amenities, including a nice coffee machine, good shower gel, and body lotion. It was a comfortable, convenient stay.
