Active Hotel

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and I thought the hotel was good value for the money. It’s in a calm part of Wroclaw, fairly close to places like the Olympic Stadium and a ZOO. The rooms are basic but very clean. I just wish they were better sound-insulated, though it’s nothing serious. The restaurant was fine too. Recommended.

Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food, plus a fresh juicer. There’s also a play area by the dining space where little ones can play while you eat. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk from public transport, yet it’s quiet enough to properly relax. Rooms are spacious, the WiFi is amazing, and the air conditioning is among the best I’ve found in a hotel. It reminded me of hotels in America. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Wroclaw.

We stayed for a week for a tournament, and I’m glad I never have to go back. The hotel was loud, the water smelled like rotten eggs, and every meal was leftover slop. The food was awful, the hotel itself basic, and the staff rude. They threatened to charge children for room keys if they weren’t returned. There’s nowhere nearby to eat, and the hotel feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Everything closes at 10 p.m., staff are never available when you need help, and there’s no shop on site for basics like water. They even refused to give us glasses with ice for drinks we’d bought outside.

There’s no minibar in the room. Breakfast has quite a few options and is pretty good, but the coffee tastes like nothing. A better machine or more choice of coffee beans would help. For the money, it’s a good place overall.
