The room was much smaller than what I’d paid for, and getting into the building wasn’t easy. The shower was extremely tiny, and the bathroom smelled. There was also an automatic perfume dispenser that was annoying and felt unhealthy. Worst of all was the steep staircase up to the bed. With mobility issues or vertigo, getting up there would be hard, maybe impossible. I wish that had been mentioned.

Cockroaches were all over the kitchen and bathroom, and the stairs were vandalised and often smelled of pee. The mezzanine bed had an old, thin straw mattress covered in stains. The place was absolutely filthy. Maybe these apartments were OK five years ago, but they’re no longer properly maintained.

The only benefit was the good connection to the train station. I’d warn people to read the reviews carefully before renting, especially about management and the 500zl charge they take “just in case.” Others have said it took a long time to get back. We asked politely to cancel right after receiving a long list of additional fees and rules, including a charge if cleaning took more than 1,5 hours. They refused, spoke as if we owed them, then ignored me. I asked for at least part of the payment back, but they declined. The apartment had been booked for less than an hour, more than two days before check-in, and they still wouldn’t find a reasonable solution when Booking asked. We didn’t want more unpleasant contact, so we found a much better apartment with good management. Meanwhile, this “hotel” charged me 760(rent)+500(“deposit”) zl. Later they were told we had checked out, even though we had never stayed there, and then they cancelled the reservation, apparently to avoid a refund or review. Also notice how they leave what I consider remarkably fake comments right after other people’s bad reviews on Booking. Our review was removed from Booking after a few weeks, and I’m working with support to get it restored.

DONT BOOK HERE! I cancelled more than two months ago, well before the point when a cancellation charge was supposed to apply, but they took 103 euros from my bank anyway. After months and several unanswered messages and emails, they still hadn’t refunded it. Update: the money has now been returned, but they gave random and incorrect reasons for the long delay. I sent these messages without getting a single answer: Apr 30, 2025: I’ve just cancelled because my work dates changed, sorry about that. May 8, 2025: Hi, could you let me know when this will be refunded? May 31, 2025: Please return the money for booking 4507076154, cancelled on 31/03/25. I still haven’t received the money taken from my bank on 31/03. Please take immediate action before I contact Booking.com. I then explained that booking 4507076154 was first made on 28/02/25 and the money was charged on 31/03/25. I had cancelled well before any charges were due and received an email saying there would be a 0€ charge, but after contacting the hotel I still had no refund. Today: Could you please take care of this? Otherwise, I’m contacting Booking and pursuing legal action.
