Dikul Hotel

The rooms were modern once we got in, though sparse and without soap. Heating and wifi were adequate, and the location was excellent. Getting into the rooms was a hassle: they made a mistake and sent us codes for only one of our two rooms. Nobody answered online, so we had to go out into the freezing night to find someone at the hotel. I think Absynt apartments belong to the hotel, or at least they manage them. We also left a USB stick in the TV and they never found it. They only replied a month later, after I tried several other email addresses. That really annoyed me, though I’ve tried to keep the rest of this review objective.

For a relatively budget option, expect a budget room. Mine was perhaps a little old, but it was large, equipped, perfectly clean and functional. Nothing caused a real problem, and it worked great for a short visit. I had a good stay, with kind, helpful staff and a great location.

The room was quiet and well soundproofed. We couldn’t hear anyone around us, hopefully they couldn’t hear us either. It had a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and a good-sized bathroom, with the basics covered: TV, kettle with tea and coffee, fridge, iron and ironing board. The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from Stary Rynek, set away from the main road.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was enough parking with easy access to the hotel. Our clean room had AC, a fridge and plenty of towels.
