Cilantro Bed & Breakfast

The heating was out for two days, which was rough since it was March and the nights were still cold. We were also told on arrival that the balcony was being reconstructed and couldn’t be used. We paid full price and hadn’t been warned beforehand, and sleeping past about 8 a.m. was impossible because of the workers on the balcony. The apartment was dirty and dusty. It clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, the toilet wasn’t properly cleaned, most of the walls were scratched, and the carpet had burns while the curtains were stained.

Breakfast was simple but very good. We had a west-facing balcony, and because it was so hot that weekend, the night was tough, though it wouldn’t have felt any better at home. The rooms looked nice and seemed quite new. The BB is on the sixth floor, and the lift worked fine; we were warmly welcomed there. I chose this place for its closeness to downtown, reasonable price and easy parking, and everything was as expected. Parking outside was free with plenty of spaces. There’s a grocery shop opposite, open until 11 p.m. We rented city bikes free of charge, and the station is a five-minute walk toward the centre. I’d stay here again.

Check-in was easy with the self-service option, and there were parking spots near the hotel. Breakfast was tasty.

The common kitchen is fully equipped, and coffee and tea are available there any time. Breakfast included boiled eggs, sausages and similar things. The rooms were clean and roomy enough, with a bathroom, Wi-Fi, TV and balcony. It’s a good location, about a 10-minute walk to the city centre.
