It was alright.

The price was reasonable, and the rooms were clean. The floor was dirty, though, which was a problem with a crawling child who wiped everything with her own things. The kitchen was okay, but its equipment was limited, and the microwave had no turntable, so bringing your own supplies is probably best. One nice thing was that we asked about staying a little longer and they had no problem with it.

The bathroom was clean, modern, and well kept, with a style that imitates a five star hotel. I used the microwave, internet, fridge, and kettle, and everything worked perfectly. For the price, I thought the rooms and interiors were quite nice too. My room had imitation retro furniture and a large terrace. The kitchen equipment was okay, and the cleanliness was excellent. Any damage that stood out seemed like the sort of wear previous guests leave behind in hostels. The staff and I had almost no direct contact, but the information they gave about the accommodation was professional. There’s a general store right next door, which is handy if you need something. Please keep the price in mind when reading negative reviews about the owner. I live in Opole, where hotels and opinions about them vary too. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels in Upper Silesia and elsewhere, so I consider this review specific, objective, and unbiased. Thanks for the kind service. I’m leaving tomorrow, and I think I’ll stay at Rumiankowy Room again.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms were dirty, with cosmetics left in the bathroom and food in the fridge. There was so much dust that when my friend stood up from a chair, her black trousers had dirt on them. There’s also nothing basic for keeping things tidy, not even a simple broom. The kitchen is open for guests to use, but it’s barely equipped. In two rooms with 9-10 beds there were only two bowls and three mugs, and basic cutlery and crockery were missing. I saw the owner’s response on Booking.com saying it’s primarily a shelter, but if guests can use the kitchen, it should be equipped. For this price, you can find somewhere with better conditions and a better location.
