Hotel Wena

There are designated areas for parties, and it seems like events like this happen quite often. On our weekend night, a party in the hotel carried on until 4AM. I’d think carefully before choosing it for a weekend stay.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I’ve rarely stayed in one this clean. You could find a few bits of dirt if you looked closely, such as on the ventilation grille, and the tooth mug still had a previous guest’s toothbrush in it. Apart from those details, hats off to the staff. The main road outside wasn’t very busy at night. Parking is behind the hotel, about a one to two minute walk from the entrance. There’s plenty of space, though you need to take care in winter because they don’t clear the snow. Breakfast was just okay, nothing special. The selection was limited, with only one kind of bread and no rolls. Fresh foods like eggs in mayonnaise, cheese, and vegetables weren’t kept chilled, and the coffee machine didn’t work. When I checked out, I expected someone to ask if everything was fine or wish me a good day or trip. All I got after saying we wanted to check out was “okay”.

A nightmare of a stay. The bathroom was disgusting, the music was loud at night, and the coffee was terrible.

The food was SO good, and the beds were big and comfortable. Everyone was nice, and the rooms were amazing. I’d absolutely recommend it for a meal or a place to sleep, 10/10.
