I absolutely do not recommend this cottage in Namysłów. We booked it for four adults and a 15-month-old, paid the deposit a month ahead, and agreed that we’d be contacted an hour before arrival. The day before, the owner tried calling three times at 3 p.m. but couldn’t reach me because my phone had malfunctioned. She then emailed to cancel, saying I hadn’t responded and the full amount hadn’t been transferred, though we’d never agreed to pay it all in advance. I got access to my phone back the night before we were due to leave, explained what had happened and asked her to contact me. She said that in half a day she had found new guests for those dates. Because of this, we left home at 3:30 a.m. with a small child and had nowhere to stay overnight. When we reached Wrocław, we spent half the day looking for somewhere else. We had paid the deposit early and arranged to be contacted an hour before arrival, so I don't understand why she cancelled the booking over the phone problem. She gave us her boss's number, but the boss refused to talk because it was her day off. YOU DON'T DO THAT!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!! Paying the deposit confirmed the reservation. If we wanted to cancel, we would have asked. The cottage and the apartment are different places in completely different cities, and we hadn't even considered the apartment, given other people's reviews of it. I didn't post the review from different accounts. Each person who was meant to rent the cottage with us posted their own, because they were affected too and had the right to express an opinion.

The place was warm and quiet, though you could hear the fridge. The internet was good, around 50 Mb/s up and down, the staircase was clean and there was an elevator. It’s next to the Cirkle gas station, and the entrance is via a renovated railway track, so be careful not to drive over it. The garage gate was broken, though that wasn’t the tenant’s fault. The reception lady was very nice, and the lady we dealt with communicated well and brought paper towels, tea and coffee right after we called. We also agreed on arrival and departure times and received Rafaello, thank you. The apartment didn’t look like the photos. There were many small damaged spots and chips, two broken electrical sockets, balcony door handles that wouldn’t close, burned-out bulbs, and a TV decoder that didn’t work because of its remote control. With check-in at 10:00 and check-out at 16:00, I was surprised by the dirt on the mirrors, sink and under the bed. The house was quite dark. The duvet was a bit narrow, so it was hard for my wife and me to cover ourselves. After we pointed things out, the lady offered another apartment for PLN 500 a night or cancellation.

This apartment was awful. The iron, oven, cooker hood and bathroom fan didn’t work. They give six people just one key, and towels cost extra. Parking was expensive, and the charge came after check-in. The landlady also mixed up dates and was very inaccurate about check-in, messages, and the apartment's check-in and check-out times.

The location is good, but I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to friends. The owner gave little information about the damage in advance, and it was hard to get in touch with them. There was no way to lower the cost of the damage either. I don’t recommend it.
