I booked through Booking.com, then the host got in touch and pressed me to cancel, saying he needed the apartment himself for those dates. I kept the reservation and reported what happened to Booking.com. Later I rented privately and it ended up cheaper. The greed of the highlanders knows no bounds.

The city center is 4 km away, so having a car is necessary. Our rooms were clean, and the shower’s hydromassage was a really nice touch. Our podiatrist was delighted with the apartments. Thank you!

I booked through Booking.com, but when I reached Zakopane after travelling from far away, I found out the host had let the place to someone else. This was meant to be a weekend getaway, and with most accommodation already booked, he offered neither another place nor help sorting it out. I wouldn’t rely on a booking here being guaranteed. Be careful dealing with this host, as you could be left trying to find somewhere else and might be deceived.

The apartment is warm, clean, cozy, and practical, in a quiet neighborhood. There’s a private parking space, and the friendly service is all handled by phone. Highly recommended 👍

There was fur all over the bed, pillows, and blankets, and the bed itself was broken. The windows had no blinds, and there wasn’t a TV remote.
