Apartamenty Miluchna

After I booked through Booking, the owner told me there wasn’t a free parking space. Cars are parked along the access road, which is being modernized, so that could be mentioned on the Booking profile. They could also state that extra charges apply, including a 300 PLN security deposit.

There aren’t many rooms, so the owners can give guests personal attention and make sure they feel looked after. The place is roomy and works for two, three, or even four people, with a kitchen that has everything you need and then some. It was spotless as soon as we walked in, and the room looked like nobody had stayed there before us. The location is handy for both the train station and Krupówki Street, but far enough from the crowds. Parking was easy too. For a stay in Zakopane, I’d definitely recommend it.

The owners were nice, but the stay was disappointing, and I would NOT recommend a double room. There was no refrigerator in ours, and at least a shared fridge for everyone should have been available. There was almost no cleaning product, just a little liquid soap in a bottle. Although the website said everything was provided, the vanity had nowhere to put toiletries, with no shelves at all, so we left our cosmetic bags on the floor. In the room, there was no cupboard or shelf for our belongings, only a shoe cabinet. We shouldn’t have had to keep things in a suitcase on the floor. It was very warm when we arrived on December 27th, then cold over the following two days. I think the heating was controlled through an app, and after we spoke up it was switched off and on.

The owner was excellent to communicate with, and the place was perfectly clean. Everything listed in the offer was there. It’s right by the train station, roughly at the end of the platforms.
