Apartamenty Top Zakopane

I don’t recommend this place. This review is about the apartment at ul. Polna 1. The owners treated us horribly. The location is described as near Krupówki and Gubałówka, but that seems to mean in a straight line, since the actual walk is 1.5 km up a steep hill. Communication with the apartment management was terrible, and the Booking.com listing didn’t match what we found. Even though we’d agreed on a specific arrival time, we waited outside in the cold for two hours before someone came with the keys. We booked two apartments for four people and had been told by phone they’d be next to each other. Instead, they were in two entirely different buildings, which we only discovered on arrival. We might have accepted that, but the apartment was terribly dirty and smelled strongly of damp. It was also missing promised items, including a microwave, kettle and oven, and the refrigerator smelled of old food. After an employee handed over the keys, we tried to contact the owner, who started being untruthful. We asked Booking.com for help, and the owner removed the listing description that had promised amenities that weren’t there. The owner refused our request to cancel. We canceled anyway and received no refund. We definitely don’t recommend this place. For the same price, you can find much better apartments in a better location and avoid the hassle.
