Aparthotel Cristina

We stayed in apartment 101 and loved the generous living area for the two bedrooms, the two gorgeous balconies, and the detailed, high-end finish. We slept really well and enjoyed spending evenings there after skiing. The title ‘aparthotel’ can be confusing: there’s no kitchen, just a fridge and kettle like in most hotels, and some units have extra living space. As a hotel, though, it exceeded expectations. Breakfast was amazing every day. We were there for 4 days and got to try a large selection from the menu, which seemed even bigger than older ones I’d seen. We didn’t miss kitchen facilities at all with a breakfast like that. We also ate at the Italian restaurant downstairs twice because we liked it so much. It was busy, fairly priced, and the food was amazing quality. The location worked well. We walked from the station with our cases without much trouble. It’s tucked just far enough off the Main Street to be quiet, while still within walking distance of the major attractions. We only managed one spa visit because we were busy, but it was a great experience. They limit it to 6 people at a time, a fair number for the space, so it doesn’t feel crowded. The facilities are high quality, and an hour a day felt like enough. Ask ahead for a key card to book your hour, since popular times can fill up. This is probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. It has won awards as the best hotel in Poland, and I can see why. The price felt fair for the quality of the accommodation and food. I’d happily stay again, even just to visit the hotel, and would love to come in summer.
