The owner and staff were professional and very friendly, and the place felt like home. There’s a kitchenette and comfortable dining area on every floor. Our room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and beautiful views. You can buy breakfast or dinner for a few bucks. It turned out to be much better than I expected, and exactly what I needed. We’re thinking of coming back for a longer stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Our family reunion brought us here for a week, and we could easily have stayed longer. The rooms had balconies with peaceful, beautiful views over the Tatry Mountains, which kept changing throughout the day. The location was perfect for us, and the property was clean and modern, with comfortable beds and efficient, professional staff. There’s a restaurant downstairs serving fresh, tasty meals. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices, and the home-cooked three-course lunches and dinners were so good it was hard not to go back for seconds. Each level also has a small, fully equipped open kitchen and seating if you want to make your own breakfast or lunch. Regular buses go to Zakopane or to Gubalowka, where you can take the cable car down to Zakopane's main pedestrian walk. Gubalowka is also an easy, pleasant walk from the property. There are plenty of tourist activities there, including horse riding, pony rides, restaurants, cafes, and toboggan rides. It’s great value. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and making our stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a holiday in the Zakopane area.

The room was bright and clean, and the mountain view was awesome. But it was extremely cold inside. The heater didn’t work at all, even though it was minus 5 degrees outside, and I left with a cold that lasted for weeks. The beds were tiny, like they were made for mini humans. I kept feeling like I might fall out during the night. The place looks nice, but my stay was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re fine with cold rooms and small beds.

Na Szczycie, meaning On The Top, really is perched high on a mountain range, with wide, beautiful views. It’s a nearly brand-new hotel, with lots of free parking, friendly staff, tasty restaurant meals, and reasonable prices. From here it’s about 10 minutes to the center of Zakopane and 8 minutes to the top of Gubałówka mountain, with panoramic views of Kasprowy Wierch, Giewont, and all of Zakopane. We give hotel Na Szczycie 5 stars!
