The cottage was cold and missing basic amenities. During our stay, one glass broke. The owner took it out of the trash, counted it as two, and charged us for that. He also added that some blinds were stuck and said he'd have to call a repair crew. I think the owner is a con man. I can't recommend this place, only advise people to avoid it.

I come to Zakopane two or three times a year, and I keep coming back because of the cottage owners. The cottage is great, the sauna is fantastic, and the hosts are the nicest people in Zakopane, as long as you're a NORMAL client.

Hello. The agent I spoke to by phone quoted 50 PLN per person for the room, but at the cottage the owner charged 55 PLN per night and said he knew nothing about the quoted price. It was also only 18 degrees inside, cold enough to feel chilly at night, even though I was there in August. The owners were very rude and lied to their clients. Maybe arriving in a Ferrari wouldn't get you that 5 PLN discount either 😄😄 I really do NOT recommend it. And Krupowki Street is 1200 meters away, not 800! :)

The house was tiny and much smaller than it looked in the photos, and it was cold as a kennel. Krupówki Street was farther away than described, and for the price, I could easily find somewhere nicer. The owner was rude and vulgar, and kept adding charges. After a visit, he counted the spoons and forks, claimed some were missing, then charged 50 złoty each. Make a list of what's there before going in, even the toilet paper rolls, because you never know what he'll claim. He doesn't issue a receipt or invoice, and I've reported the matter to the tax office. I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather sleep in a hostel than in this kennel.
