A special mountain resort in the Tatra, mixing nature with early 20th century design and a modern touch. The views are great, and there's a restaurant, cafeteria, and sauna. For location, I'd give it five stars without hesitation. A few tips: from Kuźnice, where the cable car starts, it's a 45-minute walk. They have about 30 parking spots near the ski jump in Zakopane, and you can pay by card. It's a good spot to head to Kasprowy Wierch. They serve breakfast, dinner, coffee, and beer. In winter, bring sleds for the ride back to the car park!

Come for generous portions and genuine old-style Polish hospitality. The Polish food is really good, just don't expect anything fancy.
The included breakfast isn't a buffet, you pick an option from the menu. We also ate dinner there, and both meals were great. Our room for two had a sink, power outlets, clean linen, soap, and towels, and the showers were super clean. There are lots of kids' games and a kicker table. Everyone on staff was lovely. We'll definitely be back :)
Run by the same family for decades, this iconic hotel sits in beautiful scenery overlooking Kasprowy Wierch and the Goryczkowa Valley.
We've come here for years for the lodging and food, and the bar used to be the best way to unwind after a long hike. Please open it at 16:00. The staff say they can't open until the restaurant finishes, whenever that is. Really disappointing.
