The spinach tart was very tasty and cost just £7, and the Hugo drink was only £3.50. It’s a well-known restaurant with a bar, good food, and excellent service. There’s live music too. Well recommended.

A lovely family run hotel with friendly staff, a bar, and a garden. It’s in a quiet spot just off the main high street. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with kettles, a fridge, and a seating area.

The mountain views from our room were beautiful, and Willa Kmicic is only a short step from Zakopane’s main street. Everything was spotless, the decor looked great, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was fantastic too. We’ve just got home and I’d happily recommend it, then come back for another stay in Zakopane.

The spacious garden is a welcome escape from the busy, cluttered town, and the place itself stays calm despite being so central. It’s opposite Hotel Litwór, beside the park, and just a couple of minutes on foot from Krupówki Street. A good spot for meetings or a comfortable stay, with excellent coffee and tea, homemade cakes, and a well-stocked bar. Service is first-rate and prices are reasonable. They also regularly put on interesting exhibitions, evening jazz, and cabaret concerts.
