Monika at the front of house and Olex the waiter deserve a special mention for going above and beyond. The place itself is beautiful, breakfast had lots of choice, dinner was lovely, and the spa was a nice bonus. Thoroughly recommend.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotless, with a large bathroom. There was loads of space, an extra-large, very comfortable bed, and two lovely balconies. Fantastic stay, highly recommend!

We were 8 people staying for 4 days in 3 separate rooms. The hotel and rooms were very nice, and the service was excellent for the most part. But do be careful about tourist advice from the front desk, especially for Morskie Oko. We were told to buy parking and admission tickets online before going, but the staff FAILED to mention that we also needed to buy e-bus transport tickets to ride up. We were travelling with elderly people and kids and couldn’t hike, so we got scammed into buying horse-and-buggy tickets. The woman at the kiosk barely looked at the tickets we had already bought. As a tourist, the choices seem to be hiking up to the lake, paying the Highlanders a ridiculous amount for a horse and buggy, or buying shuttle tickets on your phone or computer. It feels like the people working in Zakopane are all trying to maximize profits for locals and natives. There were also signs on the bathroom mirrors in English and Arabic saying water must stay in the shower and there’s a fine if it gets out and causes damage. Why wasn’t Polish first, since the hotel is in Poland? The bathroom lights by the sink are mood lighting and much too dim for getting ready. They should be replaced with something brighter.

The breakfasts were poor, no better than what you’d expect at a three-star hotel at best. I don’t understand why this place calls itself five-star. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the service was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. An awful stay and a complete disappointment.
