The beds were a real problem for us: the mattresses are thin and so uncomfortable that sleeping properly was hard. The kitchen is barely equipped, too. What made the stay worse was the owner's manner with guests. We saw her speak to customers rudely, and she didn't even greet or say goodbye to us. I run my own business and can't imagine treating customers that way. It's hard to understand taking people's money while treating them like this, especially when customers are what keep a business going. With so many places to choose from in Zakopane, we'll go elsewhere. We won't return or recommend it. Honestly, it's embarrassing.

The balcony view is beautiful and really stands out. The location is excellent, and the owners were kind and helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean, well kept, and had what we needed for everyday comfort. A very pleasant place to stay.

The rooms and bathrooms are cramped, and the mezzanine felt like it was built for dwarves. The stairs are extremely steep, barely stairs at all, and I wouldn't recommend them. The house itself is tiny, with so little space that you have to step out of the shower sideways. In the kitchen there were only three glasses for eight people and a tiny electric hotplate. Making scrambled eggs would take two hours, if it even heated up. The owner was unpleasant, unfriendly, and arrogant. We called to ask if we could arrive after 1 p.m.; she replied, "I don't care what time you'd be arriving." When we got there and rang the bell, she came out with, "What's this?" It felt like a Karguli comedy, though the cabaret had only just begun. She told us to go up the back stairs, and as soon as we entered the room she demanded the rest of the money. There was no confirmation and no information about where anything was in the Adams' house. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
