The one thing going for this place is how close it is to everything. The room smelled bad, and mold was spreading across the ceiling and walls. When I reported it, the receptionist blamed the weather. I suspect the rooms were left unheated, since all the radiators were off. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but they only sprayed air freshener, and there was still mold when we arrived. Breakfast was pretty plain, though fair for the price. They need to clean more thoroughly and treat guests more kindly.

It’s a handy base for a few days, with a great location close to the station and a store nearby. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is new, and the WiFi is good. Breakfast and coffee were very good too. The mattresses are old and should be replaced.

I nearly didn’t book after reading some reviews, but jaskółka turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The staff were kind and helped with any problem we had, and pets are welcome. Our basic room was clean and warm, with a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast was plentiful, with scrambled eggs and sausages on some days or warm żurek soup on others, plus plenty of bread and sandwich fillings. There was no plant-based milk. We’ll come back!

The location makes it easy to reach the PKP train station, the bus station and some of the best hiking trails, all just a couple of minutes away. It’s very reasonably priced, with decent free WiFi and a buffet breakfast. The Polish food is home-style, and the breakfast has good quality cold cuts, cheeses and hot meats.

Good, basic accommodation at a very reasonable price, in a great location, with a buffet breakfast each morning. We didn’t spend much time there, so the old building wasn’t a big deal, and the occasional whiff of sulfur wasn’t too bad if you can put up with it. Sewer smells would sometimes linger in the air, both inside and outside the room.
