Willa Pod Wierchami

We stayed for two nights and really liked this cozy place. The view from our room was amazing, and breakfast was included at an affordable price. The host and staff were so friendly, and their dog was adorable 😍

The views were beautiful, and I had the best ice cream I’ve ever tried 😊. The beds weren’t very comfortable, but we still had an amazing time here for a low price. Everyone was so friendly. I’ll recommend it to friends and definitely come back, hopefully in June.

We had such a good stay that we’d give the place an 11 out of 10. Willa is pet friendly, too. The owners were absolutely lovely, kind, and helpful, and whenever we asked for something, they came up with an answer or solution. The rest of the staff were friendly, cheerful, and very polite. Our room was cozy and spotless, as was the modern bathroom. The house is kept very clean in a mountain style, with details like the hand-carved bed headboard. On the second floor there’s a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, cupboards stocked with plates, cups, and cutlery, plus a sink, iron, and ironing board. It’s handy for preparing food before a day in the mountains or making something when you get back. There’s also a little seating area with two sofas, a table, and a bookshelf, nice for a rest while waiting for the kettle. The grocery shop is about ten minutes away. Breakfast was great, with local cheeses, cold cuts, salads, fruit and vegetables, homemade cakes, freshly made scrambled eggs, and lots more to choose from. They also offer a different homemade two-course lunch each day. We stayed for over two weeks and didn’t get the same one twice. We don’t know Zakoapne very well, but the owner gave us lots of advice on what to see, where to go, and how to get there. About ten minutes away there’s a church well worth seeing, even if you’re not a believer. Its altar, hand-carved by the owner’s father, is a masterpiece.

The dinner was delicious, especially the homemade soup, and the beer was great too. For the price, you really can’t go wrong. The staff were lovely, professional, and helpful.
