Pod Modrzewiami

I booked two rooms and got there around midnight. One was awful and didn’t match the pictures from the booking. I couldn’t sleep properly, so I asked to switch rooms. Instead, I was intimidated and told to leave halfway through if I wasn’t happy. They threatened to meet me. In a remote place I’d never been before, at midnight, I was frightened and had nowhere else to go. I slept anxiously for a few hours and left early in the morning. We’d told them our arrival time twice so we could get some rest after traveling, but we were asked to make our own bed. There was no tissue paper, the bathroom smelled bad, and the bed was small and uncomfortable. The next morning I was shocked by how unhygienic and unprofessional the kitchen seemed, so I couldn’t bring myself to eat breakfast. They did offer free coffee at reception, which I appreciate. There were no facilities at all. I can’t recommend this place, and I wouldn’t want anyone else or myself to go through the same thing.
