Poduszka Willa Mirwa

Willa Mirwa was moderately priced and good value for money. The main drawback was having to walk to the city center for places to eat, though I’d still recommend it to close family and friends. The owner spoke English and was always helpful. She helped us find our way to attractions and gave us very good recommendations for ski slopes, thermal baths, trekking routes, and especially restaurants serving heavenly traditional food. From the property, we could see different ski slopes and the village across the way. Our rooms had linen, towels, tea, coffee, sugar, a stove, fridge, cutlery, pots and pans, and a small table. I liked the little biscuit reindeer on the small Christmas tree. The bedrooms were well heated, with modern en-suite bathrooms and storage. The views were of neighboring houses, which were lovely to see in winter. The timber building felt modern while still fitting its surroundings. We stayed there during our Poland holiday in January 2017. The property is on a wide, accessible street leading out of Zakopane, about 10 to 15 minutes from the center. The place felt magical in its winter wonderland setting.

We only came for breakfast, and the food was tasty and great. The staff were friendly. Highly recommended.
