A lovely apartment close to the town centre.

I’M NOT RECOMMENDING THIS!!!!! We were put in the Tristan Apartment on Stroma Street because there weren’t any apartments left at the main Nowotarska Street property, where my friends were staying. The website photos made this place look fairly modern, and when I checked with the front desk, they assured me the apartment really looked that way. Maybe AI or good Photoshop is doing the work now. We paid 1,258 PLN for two nights for two people, far too much for these conditions. The woman working there was very rude. She acted like being there was a punishment, or like renting the apartment was some favor she was doing us. The actual apartment was dark and on the ground floor. The kitchen didn’t have the greenery that probably helped create the atmosphere in the photos, if it wasn’t edited in. The stove and oven didn’t work. The headboard in one room was badly worn and coming apart. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, but it smelled of mold, probably because the jacuzzi feature had been disabled. I’m very disappointed with the stay and with how my complaint was handled. If I hadn’t arrived at the last minute and needed to get ready for a friend’s planned birthday, I would’ve asked for a refund right away. I’m adding photos in case they help someone choose where to stay and avoid spending what I did. At this price, I could’ve chosen one of the luxury hotels, including meals. We had a three-bedroom apartment for our family, but it badly needs renovating. The baseboards were coming loose, doorknobs were broken, the kitchen cabinets wouldn’t close properly, and the mugs were old. The living room, if you can even call it that, had seating that was terribly uncomfortable 😂. In the bedrooms, the beds were broken, the headboards loose, and the mattresses soaked. The apartment has paid for itself by now, so it’s time to put some money into it 😃 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The kitchen was well equipped, the place was clean, and the location was good. We were a family of eight, though one of the beds in the double bedroom was actually an uncomfortable couch. It should’ve been a proper bed. Watch your head if you haven’t stayed in a loft before, one of us came home with a lump.
