The location is good, the rooms are very warm, and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds are hard, though, and the ventilation is poor enough that you can smell the neighbors. The door stars show a top rating in 2015, then a steady decline year by year. The place is perfectly fine, but it seems little has changed since the investments three years ago, and some equipment is worn. I'd give it 3.5 out of 4. After a day on the slopes, though, you'll sleep even standing up :)

We go to Zakopane every year, and this is our second year staying at Stroma 4f/3. We wouldn't swap it for anything. It's a great apartment at a reasonable price, with a first-class owner who's relaxed and polite. Krupówki Street is about a 20-minute walk away. Highly recommend it!

We can really relax in this great apartment, and it has everything we need. Definitely worth recommending. I'll be back here every year myself.

Think about whether you'll arrive during the stated check-in time before booking. Our car broke down on the highway, so we were late. We let the owner know, and he supposedly waited until 2 a.m., but he hadn't read our 10 p.m. text and didn't answer the phone. He only let us in at 8:40 the next morning, after we had camped outside the property. Mr. Jerzy wasn't very friendly. We could have just left the keys, as people do elsewhere, and avoided all this. We also found other negative reviews about the owner, including one saying there was mold in the bathroom that still hadn't been fixed. Check the guesthouse address carefully too: the main listing shows Krupówki 81 near Krupówki Street, while the place on Stroma Street 4 is "hidden" there. If you miss the full listing and address, you could be in for a surprise.

We loved the apartment. It was clean and comfortable, and a great place to unwind. I'd recommend it to anyone.
