I had doubts after reading the negative reviews, but my stay was more than satisfactory. The house feels lived in, with equipment, some food supplies that previous guests may have left, and a few broken parts. If you're expecting an Airbnb that's picture-perfect and has nothing unnecessary, that's not what you'll find. Still, the house was perfectly usable and the service was good. Alan was helpful, and the jacuzzi was pretty fun.
The bathroom leaked everywhere, the heating didn't work, and all we had was a small blanket. The coffee machine and electric kettle didn't work either, and the jacuzzi was out of order. The place was dirty too. We had to shower in another room, which had no shower door. In short, get away from this place!
We checked in on 11th November 2023 for one night. The room wasn't ready, so we waited, though not for long. The kitchen was still dirty from breakfast that evening and the next morning, so we skipped breakfast. The room was just okay, and the very creased bedwear looked completely unpresentable. At least it was warm. I definitely wouldn't stay again. They need to put more effort into the accommodation and its hygiene.
The two big shared jacuzzis in the glasshouse extension beside the living room were a real highlight. We had such a good time that we added another night because we weren't ready to go. The owners had thought of everything, from the ensuite jacuzzi and instruments to play to cooking supplies and tips for getting around. Swetlana was a hardworking, accommodating host who made sure everyone was comfortable, and breakfast was great too.
Breakfast was included, and the place had a fantastic atmosphere among the guests. It’s a nice spot to stay near Giewonf mountain and enjoy the Zakopane spirit.
