We had a terrible stay, and left a day early because of insects on the bed. With our four-month-old baby there, we worried they might get into the baby’s ears, nose or mouth. When we told the owner, the reply was that the bugs were harmless. That didn’t address our concerns about having them on the bed or about hygiene. The apartment also wasn’t clean enough, and ants were crawling around everywhere. The shower kept changing between hot and cold, the bathroom drain was poor and water would collect on the floor, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. The owner stopped answering my calls. There were three numbers, but none picked up. Getting the keys was a hassle too. We had to go somewhere else to collect them with all our luggage, then received a bunch of keys and were left to work out which one opened what. We struggled with the security gate, the main door and another lock. Imagine trying to sort that out at 9 pm in the rain with a crying baby.

Apartment number 1 was a nightmare from the first day, and the administration completely ignored our complaint. Beneath the bedroom, which is on the far right corner of the building, there’s a technical room with boilers and pumps. They vibrate so strongly that the room fills with a loud, irritating noise like an aircraft turbine or hydraulic pump. It was impossible to fall asleep. We wasted our money and our vacation was ruined straight away. The original warning was repeated: if you check into apartment number 1, this could become your worst nightmare. The same noise from the boilers and pumps made sleep impossible, and contacting the administration got no response to the problem.

Getting there was complicated, and there weren’t enough towels, even though we paid 3,000 zł for the cottage. The bathroom we got was completely different from the one in the photos. There were seven of us, and I don’t recommend this particular cottage. I definitely won’t come back here.

The accommodation was in the basement, with a sewage smell, mold and dust everywhere. I don’t recommend it. Never again.

The apartments are clean and smell fresh, and they’re a good fit for two people. There’s an inn and Krupówki Street nearby, as well as a local shop. I recommend them.
