Willa Pod Niebem

We really enjoyed dinner last night. We had goulash and pancakes, then apple pie and cheesecake for dessert, along with two cherry beers. The atmosphere and service were great, and this place is a real gem.

🌟 Gospoda pod Niebem – Gubałówka, Zakopane 🌟 The wooden carvings, traditional textiles, warm lighting, and other rustic details give the inside a strong Tatra character. It feels almost like a living museum of Polish craftsmanship, with decor rooted in highlander folklore. Outside, there are stunning views, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The pierogi z jagodami were spot on: soft dough filled with sweet blueberries and a little cream, a real taste of summer in the mountains. I also tried the oven-roasted pork knuckle, golonko z pieca, with a rich tomato sauce. The sauce was tangy and savory, and went beautifully with the tender meat. A memorable stop if you’re exploring the heights of Gubałówka, warming up after a hike, or just taking in the views. Highly recommend it for a Zakopane visit!

The location is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. The food was incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The food was bad and no fun to eat. It took ages to arrive, and it was very dry, like it had just been microwaved. None of our eight people were satisfied. The service was hard to understand, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who don’t speak the language.
