I’d visited Zakopane once before on a day trip with my parents, staying on the Slovakian side of the High Tatra, and decided to come back alone for a few more days. It was winter and bitterly cold for all four nights, but I had a great stay thanks to the cozy accommodation at Willa Rawa. My little room had everything I needed for this kind of trip. Check-in was simple, with a text message and a code for the main entrance, and sharing the place with the other guests added to the good impression. I really enjoyed my time here. Thanks to the people who run the place!

The views are absolutely stunning 👌. It’s a beautiful place, full of original features, with a really well-equipped kitchen and a lovely host.

The lounge has plenty of room to sit together in the evenings, and the twin room is cosy, fairly spacious, with enough storage. The kitchen is very well equipped, and WiFi reaches throughout the apartment on both 2.7GHZ and 5G. It’s a good spot for a winter stay with family or friends. You can manage here with or without a car, with the city centre and a local shop stocked with plenty of products close by.

The beds were really uncomfortable, and because the house is wooden, you can hear everything. WiFi is slow, though it does work, and the electricity and water were fine. The cottage is about 100m from the main road in Zakopane, which is noisy and makes the town ugly, so the Willa itself is in a quiet spot, thankfully. Even so, I think it’s one of the better choices in Zakopane.

There’s an old rustic feel to this wooden house, with a big dining space and open-plan kitchen. Near the centre of zakopane, it has warm, clean rooms with their own bathroom and shower, plus a TV in each.
