Apartament Deluxe 3/10

Right in the city center, just a few steps from Zielona Góra’s pedestrian zone, the apartment has a lovely view of the Philharmonic Hall and the city. The owner is very friendly, and you can get the intercom and key safe codes by phone. It’s clean, modern, and nicely furnished, with what you need for a longer stay: fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, vacuum, iron, mop, and a kitchen stocked with cutlery, glasses, pots, and pans. The bathroom has towels and a hairdryer, and there are two TVs, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and even a DVD player with DVDs. I highly recommend it.

The layout was good, with a spacious living room, dining area, kitchen, separate bedroom, and bathroom. But the bathroom drain was blocked, water leaked from the shower, and the toilet had an unpleasant smell. The bedroom TV and all the lamps were out of order.

We stayed in apartment 12. You can tell it used to be luxurious, but it’s now shabby and dirty, with stains, grime, broken glass on the walls, and dust and debris on the furniture. Dishes were scattered around, and there was just one deep plate. The bedding was awful, and rags were left everywhere. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so we couldn’t try it. A Booking review said the furniture had been replaced, but that isn’t true. The bed is falling apart and the mattress sags; the kitchen cabinet doors are coming off. The apartment was warm, though the heat couldn’t be adjusted, and parking was free. We were on holiday and booked on arrival day from what was left. The price should be half of what’s listed on Booking!

Cozy, warm, and well looked after, with its own kitchen, which was a big plus, and free parking. The only problems were a slow-draining shower and no hairdryer. Everything else was great, and I highly recommend it!
